Abeke` (Kay) Baker, LMFT (she/her)

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Co-founder of All 1 Family Mental Health Services

Abeke Baker, LMFT is a 2011 Mercer University School of Medicine graduate's Marriage and Family Therapy Master's Degree program. She has a unique career path in the Mental Health/Social Services field that began at 14 years old. She started as a youth counselor for the Red Cross Lock Key Kids safety program and has more than 18 years of hands-on experience ranging from a Program Director of Howard County Parks and Recreation in Columbia, MD which included youth and young adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities, autism, and mal-adaptive behaviors to Inpatient Crisis Stabilization Hospital for adolescents and adults.

Volunteer Work: Abeke has been an AUU basketball assistant coach since 2003. In 2015, she also began volunteering with a program that helps find housing for homeless LGBTQ youth.

Abeke Baker (also known as Kay!)  is the founder of All 1 Family, Inc. a nonprofit community organization in Atlanta, GA that focuses on mental wellness for LGBTQ+ individuals, particularly persons of color, providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ identified persons and allies to be themselves as they embark on their unique journey of growth and discovery with their therapist by their side. All-1-Family provides all persons with low-cost, affordable counseling services (individual, family, group, and couples). All-1-Family’s clinicians draw on their personal experiences as identified LGBT persons (or allies) of color in the community.
