Kate Moore (she/her)
Manager of Education, National Center for Civil and Human Rights
Kate Moore is the Manager of Education at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, where she passionately crafts educational content that deliberately uplifts the stories of individuals who have challenged norms, demanded rights, and created change. Originally hailing from Augusta, Georgia, she is a first-generation college graduate. With a master's degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, she channels her profound interest in women's, gender, and queer history into her work.
Kate utilizes her historical training and skill set to tell the untold stories she believes will resonate most with the students and teachers she serves. Beyond her career pursuits, Kate finds joy in exploring the intricate histories and techniques of fiber arts like knitting and crochet, a passion that was passed on to her from her mother and grandmother.
