Xavier Rolling (he/him)

YOU(th) Belong Steering Committee Rebound Support Services and Life Coach at Youth Empowerment Success Services (YESS4Youth)

Xavier Rolling (he/him) is a Rebound Support Services and Life Coach at Youth Empowerment Success Services (YESS4Youth) where he helps unhoused youth find safe and stable housing while teaching them the skills to live successfully and independently. Previously, he was an Outreach Coordinator for Lost-n-Found Youth.

Xavier started his journey working with youth while interning at the Juvenile Detention Center in Shelby County Alabama. Listening to their stories inspired him to continue his education in Program Management with a concentration in Criminology at University of Phoenix.

Xavier is also an individual with a lived experience of homelessness while living in Alabama. He was fortunate to find a program that was willing to help and show him kindness when others shut their doors which has enabled him to share his story and pay it forward to other youth and young adults. Eventually Xavier moved back home to Atlanta where he started a career path with Lost-n-Found Youth as a Program Associate. Within 18 months, he was promoted to a case manager, helping to facilitate safe spaces for youth to be heard and accepted as their authentic selves.

Lost-n-Found Youth provided Xavier the foundation to help youth with personal development by providing resources for mental health, housing, educational opportunities and life skills. In his new capacity, with YESS4Youth, Xavier supports youth empowerment and opportunities in a variety of ways.

Finally, Xavier is completing his Youth Advocacy Fellowship at the LGBTQ+ Institute in its inaugural cohort where his project is entitled: “In Your Periphery: Facing Atlanta’s Willful Denial of its Unhoused Epidemic.”
